PLEASE NOTE:  EVERYONE desiring to UPGRADE an US Sailing Sanctioned Offshore Safety at Sea Course taken prior to January 1, 2022 to a US Sailing Sanctioned International Offshore Safety at Sea Course with Hands-on Training (2-day) Certificate that meets World Sailing Guidelines for Safety and Personal Survival MUST complete:

• The newly released US Sailing Offshore Online Part 2 (Chapters 11-15) AND
• Attend and complete a US Sailing Sanctioned Inernational Offshore Safety at Sea Course Hands-on Training ONLY

PLEASE NOTE:  EVERYONE desiring to take a US Sailing Sanctioned International Offshore Safety at Sea Refresher Course (1-day) MUST complete:

• The newly released US Sailing Offshore Online Part 2 (Chapters 11-15) AND
• Attend and complete a US Sailing Sanctioned International Offshore Safety at Sea Refresher Course (1-day)

These policies went into effect on January 1, 2021; approved by both the Safety at Sea Sub-Committee and Offshore Committee of US Sailing.
